History: Chêne Bleu wines are produced at La Verrière, a medieval property nestled on the heights of the Dentelles de Montmirail at the foothills of the legendary Mont Ventoux. The vineyard is undergoing organic conversion and biodynamics is being tested on certain plots.

Terroir: A terroir with multiple soils, from clay-limestone to blue marbles, with varied exposures and inclinations, at an average altitude of 500 meters, which brings the necessary freshness.

Vine culture : In Crestet, sheltered behind the Dentelles de Montmirail, on a balcony on the north face of the Ventoux, the Domaine du Chêne Bleu is one of those wine estates thought out down to the smallest detail, at the forefront of wine culture. Organic farming (soon biodynamic), beekeeping and the experience of a multi-faceted terroir are the DNA of the 30 hectare estate, which produces (only) 50,000 bottles per year.

Vinification: Classic fermentation for 2 weeks in stainless steel tanks.

Aging: Aging in barrels for 6 months.

Grape varieties: 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah.

Tasting: This wine has a carmine color, intense and limpid. The nose is very rich with beautiful notes of black fruits, cherries and mint. In the mouth, it is the words suppleness, freshness and velvety as well as persistence that we will note. Fleshy and dense, with fine tannins, it will accompany your braised meats, or fine roasted poultry.

Allergen: Contains Sulphites
